Our Story
At K & M Custom Creations, we blend creativity, tradition, and family to bring you unique, handcrafted products. The journey began in 1989 when Michelle started Michelle's Baskets and Bows from her two-bedroom apartment. By 1992, she opened a storefront in downtown Phoenix, NY, and expanded to a new location as the business grew. In 1998, Michelle moved out of state, and her sister Karen stepped in to take over the floral side of the business, renaming it Karen’s Flowers.
While Karen focused on flowers, Michelle started her own antiques and wreaths business called Shelly's Antiques & Wreaths, creating beautiful, handcrafted wreaths and finding one-of-a-kind antiques. In 2022, Karen’s passion for flowers grew alongside her interest in embroidery starting Karen's Embroidery. She purchased her own embroidery machine, and together with Michelle’s floral expertise, they decided to unite their talents and create K & M Custom Creations. Today, the business offers a diverse range of products, including fresh and silk floral arrangements, custom embroidery, handcrafted wreaths, and unique antiques. Each piece is designed with care, blending personal craftsmanship with a love for tradition.
